! I agree that podcasting considers a dynamic type of broadcasting in the digital age of media. It can take different shapes and purposes and integrated on social media platforms. It is a fantastic way to feel that you are heard and sometimes listened when you compose your piece of a podcast or even listen to your favourite ones. Recently, growth in following podcasts was recognised in the USA despite other popular media discourse that continued to privilege online video as the future of media. "A market research has discovered that podcast fans tend to be highly dedicated ‘‘super listeners,'' consuming more audio by time than listeners of AM/FM radio, streaming music, or any other form of audio" (Edison as cited in Bottomley, 2015). This finding is a new finding which shows a reflection of what might a future be in terms of digital media preference. Is it good or a bad thing? It depends on the quantity and quality of the content that youth is exposed to, but it is a good turning point as it shifts the trend of digital consumers to the listening sphere. Recently, I was introduced to a new podcast channel for education, WISE. It is used as a useful and updated reference for educators, teachers and policymakers in the education sector.

From my personal experience, during my study broadcast journalism, I had a chance to play with the audio mixer. I remembered how my eyes were glowing and looking at the green and red colours of the audio mixer. I felt so happy recording my voice and composing my first podcast on the emergence of the Romantic Revolution, but I never think of continuing this. However, I might change my mind after reading your fantastic blog. In my point of view, it is more rewarding to see your podcasts are heard or listened than your photo is liked or seen. It gives a sense of receiving a message and sharing point of view with others in a more effective way. For instance, on WhatsApp groups when people, sometimes, prefer recording to clarify a certain point, so they feel they do their best to express an idea or a story.
